The story of this school began back in 2009 when Shifu Ip founded a school on the south shore of Montreal. Shifu had a little group of students at that time and taught the traditional Chinese martial art of Baji Quan for about three years. Life brought him to move to Toronto where he got married and founded a family.

After several years, one of his former students got back in contact with him to start a school in the region of Montreal to perpetuate the teaching of Baji Quan in Québec, with the hope of extending this martial art across Canada. Shifu Ip is also teaching in person in the Greater Toronto Area, he gives online classes and even teach to s student in the United States.

​L'histoire de notre école remonte à 2009, Shifu Ip avait alors ouvert une école sur la rive-sud de Montréal. À cette époque, Shifu avait un petit groupe d'élèves et il leur enseignait un ancien art martial traditionnel chinois, le Baji Quan, et ce, pour une période d’environ trois ans. La vie l'amena à devoir déménager dans la région de Toronto o​ù il se maria et fonda une famille.

​Après plusieurs années, un de ses anciens étudiants reprit contact avec lui pour reprendre son apprentissage et ouvrir une école dans la région de Montréal pour perpétuer l'enseignement du Baji Quan au Québec, avec l'espoir de pouvoir étendre cet art martial à travers le Canada. Shifu Ip enseigne maintenant à Toronto et Shihing JB enseigne dans le Grand Montréal.
